IInvestigative Reportnvestigative reports are an incredibly important part of a workplace investigation. Dangling participles, improperly modified nouns, missing dates, omitted details, and unsupported conclusions in a written report can sabotage an entire investigation. These are the documents that, at best, are used by an employer to make important decisions about employees and, at worst, are used by courts to make decisions about the fate of a company.

The Lynch Service Company’s report template is based on decades of experience and fine-tuning. Each report includes the pertinent details of the investigation. Additionally, our reports detail each allegation, provide corroborating or refuting details, and make a sound conclusion about that allegation. Although the reports are based on a defined structure, the data within each report is wholly customized to each client and each scenario. On occasion, reports include additional sections to properly document other information that was revealed during an investigation. After performing so many investigations, our team knows exactly what to do with the data revealed in an investigation so that results are presented in a high-quality and standardized format.

“It has often been said there’s so much to be read, you never can cram all those words in your head.   So the writer who breeds more words than he needs is making a chore for the reader who reads.   That's why my belief is the briefer the brief is, the greater the sigh of the reader's relief is.” -Theodor Seuss Geisel, (1904-1991), affectionately known as Dr. Seuss
